I stumbled across a unique blog yesterday, The Daily Erasure. The author, Alethea Kehas, uses an artistic concept called erasure – “a form of found poetry or found art created by erasing words from an existing text in prose or verse and framing the result on the page as a poem.” (Wikipedia) Or as Brett called it: Literature hacking.

I had never heard of this before but it struck me as brilliant and I wanted to give it a try. This was my first victim attempt. Don’t worry, no books were harmed in the making of this erasure. That’s what Photoshop is for. Let me know what you think though. I may make it a semi-regular contribution to the blog.

There are mysteries,
   Questions without answer.
You wonder, you doubt.
Everything is possibly
   wrong.

It’s more interesting
   To live not knowing.
Approximate answers, possible beliefs.
I’m not absolutely sure
   of anything.
